The Story
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very lovely and iconic lantern used during the First World War, often referred to as the Dietz lantern due to the maker. It measures roughly 8½” tall and is in good service-worn condition. The wick is near its end, so this was an example that saw true use during the war.
There are no markings besides the company logo. The red pane is still fully intact and the door opens & closes without issue. A very nice example, ready for further research and display.
