Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely scarce example of the leather carrying case for the Warner & Swasey M-1913 Sniper Scope, which was used extensively during World War I mounted onto the 1903 Springfield rifle. This case is in fair overall condition and even retains its leather carrying strap.
The case is stamped on the back with the Diamond logo of Diamond Ltd., a known maker of these cases. The leather securing strap for the case is unfortunately gone, but all other leather pieces appear retained, albeit heavily cracked and crazed. The small pouch to the front is retained as is its strap, but it appears very fragile.
The leather carrying strap appears a much darker color than the leather of the case itself, and there is a small strip which has been cut partially. Overall, this is a great example of an extremely scarce case to find on its own. It measures roughly 10½ x 3Âľ x 2¾”. Â
A great example, ready to complete your scope set.
