The Story
Original Item. Only One Available. This is a scarce piece of WWI manufacturing, one of the original dies used to make the cap badges for the U.S. Army M1912 Officer’s Visor caps. This example comes with an unfinished example which is uncut, and fits onto the die perfectly.
The die measures 2⅛ x 3½”, and is very heavy. The badge is still very clear on the die. The included unfinished device measures 2¾ x 3” and shows heavy wear. This is a tremendous die for one of the most easily recognizable badges of the U.S. Military. Comes ready for further research and display.
