Original U.S. WWI Manufacturing Dies for US Collar Discs - Lot of Two

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a scarce piece of WWI manufacturing, a pair of the original dies used to make U.S. WWI Collar discs, worn on the collar of every soldier of the US Army during the war. The die is very heavy, and still shows the US clearly. It appears to be a set, with the smaller one being hammered onto a piece of metal placed on the lower half to create the shape. 

The larger die measures 2¼ x 2⅛” and has some oxidation on the bottom as shown. The smaller die is 1⅝ x 1⅜”. Comes ready for further research and display.
