The Story
Original Item: Only One Available. This is very rare item that we have only had one of before! This is a great U.S. Eagle Snap medical belt by Mills dated July 1918. The design is quite similar to the standard cartridge belt, but instead of pouches for stripper clips, it has pouches to hold bandages for easy deployment in the field. Each pouch is held closed with a great rimmed eagle snap.
The metal end piece is stamped with the MILLS logo and a patent date of January 2nd, 1917. The back of the belt is stamped with the MILLS logo and a date of July 1918.
A very interesting piece of medical field gear from the Great War! Ready to display!
