$45.00The Story
Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great pair of standard issue WW1 1907 pattern slings used on the 1903 Springfield Rifle, 1917 Enfield Rifle, and the M1 Garand Rifle. This model of sling saw decades of service and is likely the most easily recognizable sling for any U.S. rifle.
Condition of the leather is rough overall but some spots are weak and caution should be taken when handling, with heavy verdigris on the brass fittings. Adjustment holes are the worst areas for this damage, so if being affixed to a rifle, be very careful and choose adjustment holes that are not as weak. The first example is marked HOYT / 1918, and the second example has no markings.
A great pair of slings, ready for further research and display.
