Original U.S. WWI Uncle Sam WSS Enlistment Poster by James Montgomery Flagg - 20 x 30”

Original Item. Only One Available. Created by James Montgomery Flagg in 1918, this World War I poster is part of one of the most famous poster series in the world. Uncle Sam is depicted here, proclaiming to the American public, "I am telling you, On June 28th I expect you to enlist in the army of war savers to back up my army of fighters". This example was encouraging people to join the War Savings Stamps.

This poster measures 20 x 30” and is in good overall condition. There are some folds which have caused some light damage near the top of the poster, but these haven’t torn yet. There are some very small rips along the edges but otherwise this is a very fine condition.
