The Story

Original Item: Only One Available. Rubberized waterproof special purpose bag used during amphibious actions and beach landings. This was designed for soldiers to fill then roll the inner flap closed and buckle the top flap over, thereby creating a waterproof seal.

The top closing flap shows white markings as follow:

All straps are present and in good working condition. The inner canvas lip is stamped very faintly with a date, but we could only make out the year, 1944.
