The front cover features an American soldier in his M1 helmet with the caption THIS YEAR 1944 - THIS YEAR OF VICTORY.
The first page lists the beneficiaries of the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Rochester, New York, with the oversize caption WE NEED MORE MONEY! The next page reads Every Mile Germany is Beaten Back… means MORE DESTITUTE FELLOW JEWS WE MUST REACH WITH HELP and means MORE DEVASTATED AREAS WE MUST HELP MAKE SELF SUPPORTING AGAIN. The text COSTS MONEY is repeated along the bottom.
One page reads AMERICAN JEWRY is the only large body of Jews in the entire world who are still able to help their fellow Jews with money. THE GERMAN JEWS CAN’T, THE POLISH JEWS CAN’T, THE DUTCH JEWS CAN’T, THE FRENCH JEWS CAN’T. The piece is begging American Jews to contribute whatever funding they have to help the fund.
