Original U.S. WWII AAF Army Nurse Corps Lieutenant’s Uniform Jacket & Skirt with Army Air Forces Patch & Enamel Pins

Original Item. Only One Available. The United States Army Nurse Corps (USANC) was formally established by the U.S. Congress in 1901. It is one of the six medical special branches (or "corps") of officers which – along with medical enlisted soldiers – comprise the Army Medical Department (AMEDD). The ANC is the nursing service for the U.S. Army and provides nursing staff in support of the Department of Defense medical plans. The ANC is composed entirely of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN).

This is a good WWII Army Nurse Corps Lieutenant’s uniform set including a jacket & skirt. The jacket has a great Army Air Forces patch stitched to the left shoulder, with US & Medical “N” collar insignia, the N denoting Nurse. Each shoulder board has a 2nd Lieutenant rank pin and a great enamel AAF pin. There is no tag or name in the jacket that we could find. 

The included skirt is in good shape but there is no name or tag we could find inside.
