Original U.S. WWII Airborne Officer’s Garrison Cap with Officer’s Piping & Paratrooper / Glider Patch

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely & hard-to-find WWII officer’s garrison cap for an officer in the Airborne, that being either the Parachute Infantry or Glider Infantry. There is a period-applied Paratroop/Glider patch on the left side, with officer black/gold piping on the cap.

The piping of this example seems theater-done with heavy wear and loss of material. The sweatband shows heavy service wear with staining. There is no size, but it’s about 7.
