Original U.S. WWII Cattaraugus 225Q “Commando” Fighting Knife With Sheath

Original Item: Only One Available. This example is offered in good, service used condition and comes complete with the original issue leather sheath which shows service use without much serious damage. The finish on the blade is still good with good markings, but the blade has some wear overall. It is however still quite sharp. The leather grip is now a lighter color with several moderate indents in the leather as shown. The pommel is still tight to the knife.

The sheath is in fair shape, with a lovely dark brown color. All stitching and rivets are intact, though the leather has what appears to be some discoloration around the belt loop and on the securing strap, which itself is very weak. This was definitely a knife and scabbard that saw use.
