Original U.S. WWII Cattaraugus 225Q “Commando” Fighting Knife With Sheath Named to Bill Watkins

Original Item: Only One Available. This example is offered in great, service used condition and comes complete with the original issue leather sheath which shows service use without much damage. The finish on the blade is great with good markings. It is however still quite sharp. The leather grip is now stained dark with white spotting, but does not have any major damage, but there is some chipping in the leather. The pommel is now slightly loose.

The sheath is in good shape, with a lovely dark brown color. All stitching and rivets are intact, though the leather has crazing around some rivets and on the securing strap. This was definitely a knife and scabbard that saw use. The scabbard is carved with the name BILL WATKINS, which we have not attempted to research.
