Original U.S. WWII Female Army Nurse Corps Officer’s Uniform Jacket with Skirt & Hobby Hat

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely uniform jacket & hobby hat belonging to a Lieutenant R. Hyde. The jacket is a lovely khaki Ike-style example manufactured by the Ambassador Uniform Co. of Los Angeles, California. 

The jacket has Army Medical Nurse & US Collar insignia, with oxidized Lieutenant’s bars on the shoulders, and the cuffs have a blue stripe. The interior tag reads Miss Hyde, and is Size 36. The jacket retains all buttons and is in great shape.

The skirt has the same tag reading HYDE R., so her name could be Ruth or something similar. A good research project. The jacket and skirt have very little damage whatsoever.

The hobby hat retains its celluloid sweat protector, and still retains the quartermasters tag, but there’s no date. There is mothing to the underside of the visor, with some spotting across the crown as well. 

A gorgeous set, ready for further research and display! Lieutenant Hyde could certainly be identified with enough work!
