The Story
Original Items. One-of-a-Kind Set. This is an interesting set of original WWII Army relics recovered at the Ardennes region of Belgium in September 1982. They include two rifle bore cleaning tins, one clean and one oxidized, two Barbasol shaving cream packs, one clean and one relic, and what looks to be a piece of a vehicle. It’s likely that the clean rifle bore tin and shaving cream pack were included to show what the items looked like before they became relics.
The frame measures 11 x 14 x 2½” and has some damage. Much of the residue from inside is falling out of the back of the frame. It is held together with duct tape. There is an old provenance tag in the frame stating where the items were found and the date 9/82.
A lovely lot of relics, ready for display.
