Original Items. Only One Set Available. This is a lovely set of souvenir items taken by a soldier stationed in Italy during and after WWII. They include an aluminum ashtray and a soldier’s guide to the island of Sicily.
The ashtray depicts mountains and a town with the text 1944 / SOUVENIR ITALY. It still works great as an ashtray and measures 3¾” in diameter and ¾” tall.
The soldier’s guide to Sicily shows heavy use and measures 5 x 7”. It is signed at the top to a Divisional HQ, with the name Theodore Bucker(?) inscribed. There is a map of Sicily in the back.
