Original U.S. WWII M1944 Helmet Net with Band & Original Tag - Rare

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an increasingly scarce M1944 helmet net which is entirely unissued and even retains the original instruction tag attached to the helmet band. The band of this example is rather stiff but still stretches, a telltale sign of the M1944 U.S. helmet net.

The original tag reads:

NET, HELMET, with BAND
USES: 1. To break up the helmet silhouette.
2. To secure camouflage foliage to helmet.
3. To prevent glare.

The front and back of the tag has illustrations and instructions on adjustments to the net for various uses. The stiff helmet band is still tied to the net, and it’s in great shape overall.
