Original U.S. WWII M49A2 60mm Deactivated Unfinished Mortar Round with Unfinished Fuse - Markings Never Added - Inert

Original Item: Only One Available. Totally inert and demilitarized according to BATF guidelines with hollow body and inert fuse. This mortar round cannot be converted to an explosive device.

Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or drilled in an BATF-approved manner so that they cannot be used as ammunition components for destructive devices, are not considered NFA weapons. This is a very interesting M49A2 mortar round which was never finished at the factory. It is entirely void of paint and markings, and has a partial unfinished fuze. There is a threaded piece stuck in the bottom so it does not stand up on its own. The fuze is still removable for inspection of the interior.

There are no markings anywhere on the round, and there is oxidation peppering across the exterior.

A great unfinished round, ready for further research and display.
