The Story

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a wonderful M1938 dispatch map case with its original shoulder strap. It’s nicely stamped U.S. on front and marked on the reverse:

BOYT
42

Under the front flap is the serial number O-1285867 and the name Witmeyer. This example retains a charting board on the interior. All inner compartments are intact with no damage, lift-the-dot snaps function perfectly. The case contains a mix of original and reproduction maps, so it may have been used by a reenactor. A really nice map case from the early war period in Khaki. Great shape overall, ready for further research and display.
