Original U.S. WWII Named USMC V Amphibious Corps Corpsman Uniform with Hospital Corps Certificates - Pharmacist’s Mate 2nd Class Robert Harold Hall

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a great named WWII Marine uniform to a Corpsman in the V Amphibious Corps with some great Hospital Corps certificates, identified to Pharmacist’s Mate 2nd Class Robert Harold Hall.

The jacket has EGA collar insignia, a V Amphibious Corps patch on the left shoulder, and a Pharmacist’s Mate 2nd Class rate on the left sleeve. There is a ruptured duck honorable discharge chevron over the right breast pocket and a 3-place ribbon bar over the left breast pocket with the American Campaign medal, WWII Victory Medal, and Asiatic-Pacific campaign medal with two campaign stars. There is a May 3rd, 1943 
College Hill contract stamp on the interior shoulder.

The included trousers are in good shape and pair with the jacket well, and the belt ties it all together for a great mannequin display.

Also included is an envelope of ephemera including Hall’s obituary, and three fantastic Navy Hospital Corps school certificates, two for Special Instruction in Electrocardiograph and as a Qualified Medical Assistant, and one graduation certificate qualifying him as a hospital apprentice, 2nd class. These are very scarce certificates to find. There is also a small bag with sand from Iwo Jima, a fantastic piece to complement the group of an Iwo Jima combat corpsman.
