The Story

Original Items. Only One Lot Available. This is a lovely lot of two recognition posters used by the U.S. Army to help soldiers identify enemy aircraft based on silhouettes and different angles. Posters such as these also would have been posted up in public places on the homefront and around military installations to familiarize friendly from foe. Both are in fair condition with some issues.

The first depicts the Messerschmitt Me-210, showing the bomber from several angles with a 6-foot man for sale. This poster has small tears at all four corners. It’s marked Restricted at the bottom.

The second depicts the Junkers Ju 88 A6, showing the aircraft from several angles with a 6-foot man for sale. This poster has small tears at all four corners. It’s marked Restricted at the bottom.

Both posters measure 18½ x 24¾” and would look best framed. A lovely pair of posters, ready for framing and display.
