Original Item. Only One Available. This is an original D-Day Eisenhower “Message to the Troops” letter as issued to allied forces prior to embarkation for the Normandy Landings in June 1944. The letter measures 6 x 9⅛” and is in fair condition, with some light tearing along the bottom and right edges with heavy folding across.
The letter is in good shape overall, with the normal folding marks. This is only the third example of this increasingly scarce letter that we have ever offered. The worst of the damage is a small tear at the bottom left. Comes ready for further research and display.
