Original Item: Only One Available. This is an excellent example of an early Korean War issue M2 Paratrooper pocket knife, with correct black plastic "jigged bone" handles. These are almost identical to the WWII issue, with the main differences being markings and the more durable plastic grips. These are very difficult to find, especially in this almost like-new condition.
It is marked on the base of the blade with:
SCHRADE
WALDEN
NY
This unissued example is in fully functional condition and comes complete with a bail (ring) on the end for a lanyard. This would ensure it wasn't dropped when being used to cut through parachute rigging. Condition is great, with just a few tiny stains on the interior of the handle due to decades of age and storage. The blade has some scratches but nothing serious.Â
Extremely rare to find in this condition, perfect for any collection!
Dimensions:
Blade length: 3 1/8”
Blade Style: Clip Point Knife
Overall length closed: 4 3/16”
Overall length open: 7 3/8"
NOTE: This knife is definitely considered a "Switchblade", so check local laws before ordering.
