Original Items: Only One Available. This is a super rare genuine WWII U. S. Navy First Aid Medical Corpsman's bag which would have been filled with loads of medical supplies for use in the field, although it is now empty. The bag measures about 11 x 8 x 4 inches, has metal strap tips and clasps. Crisp medical logo on the bag flap and nicely stencil marked U.S.N.
There are no contents in the bag, and the interior shows very heavy staining from period use. The snaps still work well and the strap is in good shape.Â
Combat medics are among the most desirable of all WWII U.S. army items due to their selfless heroic service and scarcity due to the high number of casualties. This bag is unique and stunning in what this soldier experienced both on the field of combat and in the prison camps they saw towards the close of World War Two.
This is a great Navy Corpsman’s bag ready for further research and display!
