Original U.S. WWII USMC 1943-Dated Rubberized Rain Cap by Archer Rubber Co. - Size 6 ⅞ - Named

Original Item. Only One Available. This is a rare US Marine Corps rubberized cloth rain cap, known as the “Bonnie Cap”. This example is a bit crushed as most are and is stamped 678 on the exterior near the patch in the middle. 

The interior retains good stamped markings:

The underside of the brim is stamped R.A. WILLIAMS with the correct Marine Corps stamp. Due to the commonality of the name, he is likely not identifiable. There is some staining on the underside and loss of stitching along the edge.
