Original Viking 11th Century Throwing Spear Tip Excavated - 5 3/4”

Original Item. One-of-a-Kind. This is a tremendous excavated piece of history, a Viking throwing spear tip dating to roughly the 11th Century. The spear tip measures 5 3/4” overall with the base having a 1” diameter.

The spearhead shows extreme amount of oxidation with the edge being heavily chipped and the entire piece being extraordinarily covered in pitting. 

An outstanding example, ready for further research and display.
