Original Item: Only One Available. This is a nice example of an M1929 Sedgley Lake Erie Chemical Co. Signal Pistol in lovely fully functional condition.
This flare pistol has a unique way of opening. You pull the button on the left side back, then twist the barrel about a corner turn, then pull the barrel forward. This allows the pistol to open, and you can even easily remove the barrel and replace it with another. This Model Sedgley is manufactured without an extractor. It is constructed of a hard rubber grip with an “ S ” embossed for Sedgley, and a Steel barrel and receiver with high polish blue finish.
The barrel is stamped LAKE ERIE CHEMICAL CO. CLEVELAND OHIO on both sides, and the barrel connection is stamped on top with PAT. 1-13-31 / OTHERSPEND.
Overall great condition, a fine example worthy of any WWII collection.
