Original Item. Only One Available. The PMA-1 anti-personnel blast mine was manufactured by SDPR in the former Yugoslavia. A plastic box mine that held 200 grams of explosive, it is usually coloured dark green. This mine was used in recent conflicts in Angola, Namibia and throughout the Balkans. Like all deactivated ordnance, this mine is Not Available for Export.
This is a great example of an inert PMA A1 anti-personnel mine from the late Cold War era. The mine’s lid is not attached to the body. The interior has the “block” with the small silver-colored fuze at the end. This is a trainer, and both the bottom of the lid and the block are inscribed INERT / 133. The mine measures 5⅝ x 2¾ x 1½”.
