U.S. WWII 1945 Publication - The Epic of the 101st Airborne: A Pictorial Record of a Great Fighting Team with 30th ID Newspaper & Field Manual of Air-Borne Troops

Original Item: Only One Available. This is an exceptionally hard to find original 1945 publication, not the modern reprint. Over-sized stiff card covers (elephant folio in an oblong format) spiral bound, so the book will open flat. There is very minor surface soiling to the front and rear covers. Light wear to the edges of the covers.

The text/photo pages are tight and clean with no marks. No name of previous owner. Size: Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall. These are extremely hard to find and the ones on Amazon are always modern reproductions made to look old, so don’t get fooled!

The book comes with a Basic field manual, FM 31-30, Tactics and Technique of Airborne Troops, dated May 20th, 1942, and a copy of the 30th Infantry Division newspaper, “Scrap” Book, dated February 1945.

A fantastic lot of ephemera, ready for further research and display.
