The Story

Original Item. Only One Available. The Walther PP (German: Polizeipistole, or police pistol) series pistols are blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols, developed by the German arms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen. The Walther PP series feature an exposed hammer, a double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel that also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring. The PP series incorporates a number of design features which were rare at the time it was first produced, but were in common usage by the late 20th Century. These include double to single action operation, a rounded hammer spur to avoid snagging when drawing the pistol, a loaded chamber indicator and a safety which, when activated, decocks the pistol.

This is a great original Walther PP / PPK owner's manual. The back cover is 1937 dated (10.37 = October 1937). The manual is in very good condition with color illustrations and written entirely in German. The pages are delicate, but have no rips or heavy tears. There is some minor staining or damage to the interior with rubbing away of some of the color. The staples are original and intact.
