The Story

Original Item. Only One Available. Germany, Britain, and France all introduced luminous night sights for their service rifles in 1916. This is a very rare example of a Berlin-printed manual for the installation and use of the German Gewehr 98 night sight.

The manual measures 2 ⅝ x 4 ½ and is 8 pages long. It has good illustrations showing the installation and use. The manual has some staining and rust damage but is in good shape overall. It shows the use of the night sight manufactured by Ludwig Sudicatis & Co. G.m.b.H. Munitionsfabrik of Berlin-Lichtenberg.
